Without an account

Your answers stay in this browser only. Nothing about you is sent to us.

With an account

You sign in with an emailed code or with Google. Resend, a company in the United States, sends the code, so your email address may be processed outside Switzerland. We keep your email address and the name you give.

Your answers, your classes and your family links are kept in a database on our own server in Düsseldorf, Germany (Hostinger).

A teacher sees your answers only while you are in their class. A parent sees them only after you link to them yourself. You can leave a class or unlink at any time.

Payments

The Gymi-Pass and tutor seats are paid through Stripe. We never see card or TWINT details. We keep what was bought, the amount and the date.

Errors

When something breaks, the error goes to Sentry, on servers in Germany, without your name, email address or answers.

Visit statistics

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, to see which pages help. It sets no cookies. A visit is known only by a code that is thrown away after 24 hours, so we can’t tell who you are.

Pages with your own data are counted by their kind only, such as “a class page”, never with their code or ID.

Vercel is a company in the United States, so this data may be processed outside Switzerland.

Tutor links

If you come through a tutor’s link, a cookie remembers that tutor’s code for 60 days. If you then buy a Gymi-Pass, the tutor gets a share of it. The cookie holds nothing else.

Your rights

You can ask what we keep about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Deleting your account deletes your answers, classes and family links with it.
